Elsa of Arendelle, the Fifth Spirit (Canon)

Height: 5'5" Hair: Waist length silver blonde, worn in a ponytail, loose braid, or completely down with a couple of little braids in it Eyes: Blue FC: Hilary Duff Birthday: November 22

Six years after her coronation, Elsa began hearing a mysterious voice, calling her to the north. One night, she was woken by the voice and in an attempt to drown out the voice, her power resonated with it and the kingdom was assaulted by ancient spirits she had accidentally awakened. Seeking answers, she followed the voice with her family, where she discovered the reason for her magic and that she had a deep connection with the spirits of the Forest she came to.

The voice led her to a glacier far to the north known as Ahtohallan, where she sacrificed herself learning the full truth of the Forest and the vendetta the Spirits had against her kingdom. When Anna sated the spirits, they revived Elsa and she was able to save Arendelle from the flood caused by destroying the damn her grandfather had built to damage the forest.

Having found her purpose in life, Elsa stayed in the forest to live among the Spirits and her mother's people…

D23: Frozen content breakdown | Breakdown/ Analysis

What a day it was yesterday! So much content we were flooded with and especially for us with the Frozen 3 and 4 update! I'm sure you all know the latest deets but I would like it to break it all down and guess what it could all mean. So be prepared to read a lot! ❄️

Frozen III logo

A couple of hours before the Frozen panel had begun, we were given a first look of the logo for Frozen 3:

It features the four elements symbols and two snowflakes too for Elsa and Anna as the fifth spirit. The III had a purple - pink gradient to it and the background had a spring scenery south blossom/ sakura trees and mountains far behind. Some of us predicted before that Frozen 3 would be set in Spring given Frozen being in winter/ summer and Frozen 3 in Autumn.

However, some people didn't believe this logo was real. But after the panel, Josh Gad put it on his stories and as a post on Instagram, the announcements and reveals made at the panel.

This must mean that it's real. But a more accurate, rendered logo was also revealed at the Panel and that Gad had also shared in his post.

So my conclusion is that the first one is a working title, a concept of what it would be like when it's promoted. The second one is a mix of the first Frozen logo and the second movie's logo combined being more 3D but still with a frozen effect. This logo is the official used rendered one whilst the first one is just a concept based on the implied spring theme of the movie. Both are real.

Frozen questions left unanswered

When the Panel began we were given a flood of questions on the board that were the questions the fans had after Frozen 2, aka the questions that were left unanswered. Here they are:

Who gave Elsa her powers?

Why doesn't Anna have powers?

Was there a fifth spirit before?

What kind of Queen will Anna be?

Will Kristoff be a King?

Do they [Anna & Kristoff] want kids?

Where are Kristoff's parents?

How did Kristoff meet Sven?

How can Sven be so old and still so virile?

Why is Olaf alive?

What about Marshmallow and the snowgies?

Is it “Hoo Hoo” or “You Hoo”?

What are Elsa's powers still growing?

Why are their castle ruins throughout Ahotohallan?

Where do the nature spirits come from?

Do we still need to beware of the Frozen Heart?

Who is the Frozen Heart?

What happened to Hans?

These questions will most likely be answered in Frozen 3 and 4, as they are confirmed to be a two part film. These are actually really good and interesting questions we have that we do need to have answered. I actually want to try and analyse (and answer them for fun!) them because some people might feel some have already answered so why the need to answer them again?

Who gave Elsa her powers?

We already know that Ahotohallan is where her powers come from. That's the source along with the other four spirits. But they probably felt like they didn't make it clear enough. Some people before Frozen 2 had theorized that there was a Snow Queen who gave Iduna something that caused Elsa to have powers. Maybe there's more to Ahotohallan than we know.

Why doesn't Anna have powers?

This isn't addressed in the movie other than the fact that Elsa and Anna are both the fifth spirit and the bridge which has two sides. But why doesn't Anna, I believe that's because the fifth spirit's role is to create balance between the powerful and the powerless (in a literal magical form). The fifth spirit was never just one being I don't think. It was always two to have one with powers and one without and have the two form a deep unbreakable bond so that humans and magical entities would look at them and see that though different, they can get along and have peace amongst each other, and live in harmony. If both were magical it would defeat the objective of creating peace between the two different types of beings

Was there a fifth spirit before?

I think yes because in the Myth VR on Disney plus, it was revealed that there was a fifth spirit before Elsa and Anna but after it created harmony with the other spirits and humans, it disappeared creating disharmony in the forest and caused the spirits to rage. Then the other four spirits managed to calm down until they were raged again by King Runeard's war between Arendelle and Northuldra. Even if this isn't canon I still believe there was one. I think it's important to know because it could be important with the journey Elsa and Anna next go on.

What kind of Queen will Anna be?

Her own kind of Queen. She will continue to bring peace and joy to Arendelle while also supporting the Northuldra tribe as her statues unveiling had suggested. She won't try to be Elsa. She's not Elsa. She's Anna. She may be the fifth spirit But whether or not she realises that she'll help maintain peace between magic and humans will Elsa's support too.

Will Kristoff be a King?

If Anna does abdicate from the throne then yes. To be exact he would be a king Consort. At the end of Frozen 2 we saw Anna greet the public as Queen and unveil the statue of her parents and kids. That wasn't the coronation which is confirmed and this confirms it too as it asks will he be king? and not is he king? I loved Elsa as Queen but she probably felt that she couldn't take care of Arendelle as she had to restore and look after Northuldra/ the enchanted forest and felt Anna deserved it after she had scared her and Arendelle twice without a doubt.

Do they [Anna & Kristoff] want kids?

That's a question that none of us thought of? Do they want kids? I think they do but will find it hard to do if there's threats and danger around. Anna definitely would be a lovely mother and Kristoff and lovable dad. But I don't think we'll see them have kids so soon, at least not in the beginning of the movie, like we won't immediately be introduced to them I don't think.

Where are Kristoff's parents?

A question we've been asking since the first movie. All we know is that he grew up as an ice harvester. He seems to have grown up independently with Sven. I can't even guess the answer because I'll probably be wrong anyway.

How did Kristoff meet Sven?

Another question regarding Kristoff's backstory we've been longing to see. It's nice to see they're including Kristoff's backstory now. The first two movies were about the sisters backstory and development arcs (and 3 and 4 continue that) but now we can finally learn about Kristoff!

How can Sven be so old and still so virile?

No clue! I never noticed that actually. I never thought of why. I don't know much about reindeer so I didn't know that Sven was so old yet so virile. Perhaps when he was young he was injured and the trolls may have healed him giving him a longer youthful life. I'm certain the trolls have a role in this if it's magic related.

Why is Olaf alive?

Why not how!! Another really interesting question that I can answer. We all know how he is alive because we saw Elsa bring him back to life but why was he brought back? He's still an important part of the sister bond and individually he has much more in him than we have seen. Plus he's Olaf and we love Olaf!

What about Marshmallow and the snowgies?

I believe they all too, along with the ice castle and all other permanent creations of Elsa, got restored either automatically after Elsa's return or by hand when Elsa got the chance. They too are as iconic as Olaf is. I hope they return in Frozen 3. They're so lovable and cute - it would be a fun addition to the movie.

Is it “Hoo Hoo” or “You Hoo”?

I always thought it was... “Yoo Hoo” because that's what people say. Hoo Hoo is an owl's line lol and one says that.

What are Elsa's powers still growing?

Just as we grow individually sometimes in height, in character, in what we feel, powers are no different. They grow as we grow inside. And Jen Lee has previously said that her powers will reach a new height in Frozen 3.

Why are their castle ruins throughout Ahotohallan?

I think they are referring to Ahotohallan as a castle and inside and out it looks ruined. During Show Yourself Elsa has to lift things up and add things to get across to the place where the memories are held. I theorize that the previous fifth spirit may have done something to Ahotohallan or to its power and caused chaos that caused Ahotohallan to have ruins in it. Ahotohallan probably was the previous fifth spirit's castle and when it went rouge Ahotohallan may have been left abandoned and ruined.

Where do the nature spirits come from?

Ahotohallan is where their powers are from. But perhaps it's more complicated than that and it needs to be addressed for lore reasons. There's more to Ahotohallan than we know.

Do we still need to beware of the Frozen Heart?

Oooooh!! My favourite question along with the next two. Do we? We must be if it's even a question at this point?

Who is the Frozen Heart?

Who? Frozen Heart is a person?! It was literally Anna in Frozen but metaphorically it was Elsa. Maybe someone else will be the Frozen Heart. Hans? Kristoff? A new character/ being?

What happened to Hans?

A question we've needed answering since Frozen and one that Hans fans have been trying to answer. His backstory based on official and unofficial media is that he has 12 brothers but they all or at least most of them treat him poorly along with his dad because he's the last child and last in line to the throne. That means, they think Hans as unworthy and unless of anything. So why did the Queen and King have another child? Probably as an accident child or just because. I'm sure the Queen is loving. He was sent back at the end of Frozen to his home, the Southern Isles so they can deal with him themselves and they did. As punishment they made him do chores like sweep up horse poop as seen towards the end of Frozen Fever before Elsa's giant snowball accidentally yet subconsciously hit him causing his major injuries. The southern Isles didn't immediately know where the snowball came from. But what happened to him after that? In a poster in the new Frozen Park in Hong Kong, it is revealed that Elsa and Anna invited the Southern Isles among other kingdoms to celebrate a year since Anna sacrificed herself to the Elsa and the Kingdom.

Hans couldn't come because he was injured. But his return is almost certain in Frozen 3 with his rise in unofficial/ canon media. Will he return as a villain or a redeemed hero is to be determined. I don't think he should return as a villain. If he did he would have taken his revenge out during Frozen 2, as he would have been recovered by then. Seeing the concept art of Frozen 3, which I'm about to go onto, it looks like we'll see mythical beings and a world bigger than Ahotohallan. Hans wouldn't fit as a villain in the expanded world of magic because he doesn't seem to be interested in magic in that greed sense. I think he'll be redeemed and help them in their new quest. Perhaps he does have tied with magic in his ancestry as we know nothing about his family.

All these questions are ones that the team feel like they need to answer in the next two movies and I think that's good. Along with showing something new, we get answers from questions we've long waited for too. And I think it's a good strategy for them to tell us the questions we've been asking so that they can answer it in the movies. They're letting us know that they can hear us and want to fulfil our wishes while telling a new story. It's good communication in my opinion.

Frozen 3 concept art and new release date

Jennifer Lee also revealed the concept art of Frozen 3. I'm sure there must've been dozens of art but this one may have been the direction they're headed in.

We have a beautiful calm colour palette that reminds me of dawn/ dusk of spring. Trees are on either side, golden light beams from behind a mystical palace in the left centre. Flowers and leaves present hinting at a Spring setting. Anna's on a horse with Olaf and Elsa on the Nokk on the river both heading to the palace-like place. The scene is set at night as the aurora borealis/ northern lights can be seen arising from the castle. Perhaps this castle has some connection to the northern lights. In the Lego Northern lights series, the trolls crystals are the ones to cause the northern lights or have a connection to them. I don't think the Lego series is canon but I do wonder if the trolls will have a role in this too.

Elsa and Anna are in their Frozen 2 attires, Anna in her travel one and Elsa in her fifth spirit one but with boots (for practical reasons). That doesn't mean that's their final look. Frozen 2's early concept art had Elsa and Anna in their Frozen looks. Olaf looks worried as he points to something off scene.

Just below the direction in which he points, in the river, lies a shadowy creature. It could be that that's the shadow of the creature Olaf points to. The creature appears to have horns and hold a staff/ spear with a sharp end.

Just below the palace-like place is a land. I was going to say Ahtohallan but the silhouettes are different.

So it seems like this place is unknown. If they went North in Frozen 2, perhaps Thai time they're going south, which is why Hans could appear. But that's just a guess.

During the panel it is also revealed that the release date is November 2027 having it moved back by a year from its original 2026 release date. 2027 seems quite far away just when we felt we were getting closer to Frozen 3 but we'll just have to be patient and hope we get some other Frozen content released meanwhile.

Frozen: Winter Festival short form series?

That's everything that was revealed regarding Frozen 3, but no word on the series that was revealed by dolls and their descriptions. I believe since the movie got delayed by a year, probably to spend more time developing the two part movies (which is a good thing so we avoid the mistakes caused by rush in production for Frozen 2), the short form series will be delayed by a year. That would mean the announcement could be closer to time in next year's D23. That or they wanted to announce the series later. The dolls are to be released in September and the series is said to be released this fall. That is of course unless they have delayed it by a year but we'll have to wait and see if anything gets said before September otherwise consider it delayed by a year (😭).

And that's all the information given to us for now. Frozen 3 looks so good and promising - the vibe of spring with a deeper fantasy element is making me extremely excited! New places, new seasons, new characters, expanded lore, possible character returns, new looks and more!! Can't wait!! And yeah though my patience is sad that Frozen 3 had been delayed by a year, I'm glad because it means they can spend more time on the movie, to develop it properly and not repeat the same mistake they made with Frozen 2 with no good planning and a rushed development to the run up of the movie.

And the Frozen: Winter Festival I'm also excited for. I think Frozen needs a canon series in its franchise.

The future looks big and bright for the franchise! ❄️

Princess week Elsa ❄️

Ok before anything yes I’m producing these rather quickly. Portraits take me no time at all to finish at minimum max 1 hour or so. I had Harumi and Rapunzel completed and almost completed to post today.😁 Also I need to get these done stat because I have another birthday project to work on for Inuyasha and Harumi and it’s needed for this Sunday.😮‍💨 yes I know when to take breaks lol. And yes I’m devoted and determined and stubborn lol.

Anyway let’s continue shall we?! 

Elsa is yes a queen I know but she’s still considered a Disney princess. Everything about Elsa is likable to me. I like her personality and I consider to kind of have her personality just a bit. Reserved and quiet but yet still with attitude if needed. I love her ice dress and fifth spirit dress. I’m an only child but sometimes I would like to have a sister or brother and Elsa’s relationship with her sister is typical but also wholesome. There’s a ship that I’m all for and I think it’s a terrific match, Jelsa. Yep, Jack Frost and Elsa.🥰❤️

Elsa and Anna will descend into the depths of Ahtohallan to find our memories of Frozen. You see, Elsa and Anna together are the Fifth Spirit. To see these memories they need to work together to part the ice. As they do, they will find more and more memories through each year, through a whole decade! They will find everything—the movies, the books, the spin-offs—and our memories too!

Those memories are your creativity!

Water Has Memory: A Frozen Decade is a fan project in the form of a fanzine created and shared over 6 months - starting with the 10th Anniversary, November 27, 2023 to April 27, 2024 the End of May 2024.

The fanzine will be in chronological order over the ten years that Frozen has been with us (2013-2023). Each memory that is submitted will be placed in the appropriate year of the contributor's choosing.

At the end of this 6-month journey, the fanzine will be brought together as one PDF.

The submissions period is OPEN. We are accepting submissions for EVERY YEAR. Submissions WILL CLOSE April 12, 2024. Submissions for each year will be open until we reach the maximum submissions for that year.

There will be a maximum of 10 SUBMISSIONS accepted per year.

We are accepting submissions in the form of: Art, photography, short fiction, non-fiction, poetry - Art – All art accepted EXCEPT FOR animatics and longform comics - Photography – All photography accepted except for 18+ content - Short fiction – Fanfiction is welcome! Word count: 1000 words max, 500 words min - Non-fiction – Word count: 700 words max, 400 words min - Poetry – 20 lines max, No shorter than a Haiku

okay so in an ideal world (mine) this is what’s cooking…

we have zayne’s birthday for a week (0831-0907)

his birthday is on 09/05 ; eternal attachment banner + birthday event

(✍️) and then for two weeks afterwards we could have a solo limited banner (either rafayel or sylus)

last time rafayel had a solo banner was his “private trip” card from 05/28-06/07

sylus was “no defense zone” from 07/15-08/01

however i wouldn’t be surprised if they end up doing a xavier solo banner / his last one was “faint sensation” from 04/19-29 so he’s long overdue… 😭 my blue eyed king comeback

in addition to the end of the month : first story branch that will go into last week of september into the first week of october (potentially 09/22-10/05)

based on july’s 2.0 livestream and follow-up SNS posts, the order has been implied to be zayne-rafayel-xavier (not confirmed) (just speculation)

(✍️) i hope it’s similar to how they handled long awaited revelry’s debut in that we get a 10 day event to complete tasks and get resources 🫡

(✍️) following this, if story branches are released towards the ends of months, then the second story branch at the end of the month from 10/20-11/02 (rafayel?) and potentially third story branch from 11/24-12/07 (xavier?)

halloween and christmas events/memories i think absolutely yes please feed us into the holiday spirit and give fun outfits/cards for the boys

i’d like to think that potentially sylus’ 2nd myths could come out this year just to be on par with the other boys, since ❄️⭐️🐠 are done for the year! though it would make more sense if it came out in like a future update alongside caleb… so they can both have myths…

fingers crossed that the next BP is zayne/xavier from september-november since we currently have rafayel/sylus as a duo (07/15-09/11)

sometime by the end of this year hopefully we’ll get to see zayne and sylus’ free 5* memories from heartfelt gift login campaigns!

who knows, they’ll probably sprinkle in another 10 days with you free 4* memory campaign again in there somewhere (gestures towards the current zayne ‘doomsday’ event)

fifth LI… come home soon… 🍎 (i personally believe there’s only going to be 5 main LIs)

(✍️) + in my opinion, an LI has to be relevant to the main story + mc’s story — ❄️⭐️🐠🐦‍⬛🍎 fit those qualifications from the get-go

+ ch1 alone introduced all of them: ⭐️ first mission, 🐠 at the fountain, ❄️ doctor’s appointment, 🍎 call/text, 🐦‍⬛ red eye foreshadowing

+ the specific focuses of the main story were as follows: ch4 🍎, ch5 ❄️, ch6 ⭐️, ch7 🐠, long-awaited revelry ch1-2 🐦‍⬛

therefore i can’t really fathom any new additions otherwise for an LI beyond those five (though, time will tell depending on the story development i guess) (i’m excited nonetheless)

I was in Christmas Mood, so I watched the Frozen Doulogy to warm my heart with sisterly love ✨❄️🎄

Frozen: What I really enjoyed in the first Frozen, was the bond between Anna and Elsa, even if they were separated when Elsa got out of control in a young age, they still loved each other. Elsa just wanted her Sister to be protected from herself because she was afraid she would hurt her again. The thing that break my heart most was that Elsa’s biggest fear became reality and she hurt Anna again, even if she doesn’t want to. The bond they shared saved both of them in the end.

Frozen2: I am very glad that Elsa found peace in Athonhallan, she always seemed to me so trapped in the castle of Arendelle, even if she was a good Queen. She’s a free spirit and deserves to be happy and free in the place where she belongs. I also think they shouldn’t give her a love interest, even if I am shipping her with Jack Frost. Elsa is good on her own. I honestly also believe that she was reborn in Ahtohallan and was born as the fifth spirit again. Also couldn’t they thought of something better than let her freeze. This also shouldn’t be possible considering she’s the snow queen but at the same time it’s a interesting turn on her powers. I also really love the version from Panic! At the Disco from Into the Unknown. It’s better than the Let It Go version of Demi Lovato in my opinion.

Frozen 3 and 4 is not necessary and I also think it’s kinda sad that Disney doesn’t respect Jennifer Lees statement to the franchise, where she said the story of the sisters ended in two. Better a good, satisfying ending to a story than two ends like Toy Story and Kung Fu Panda. They should do, like with most franchises, just let it go.

Frozen is a beautiful story about sisterhood and acceptance to yourself but also about finding your place in the world, where you sometimes haven’t the feeling that you would fit in.

It was the night of an Order of the Phoenix meeting, and almost everyone had come, even Snivellus. Sirius was just glad that he had company; being trapped in his childhood home was driving him mad. Sometimes it felt like he was back in Azkaban with the dementors. He drew a mug of alcohol to his mouth and glared at Snivellus, who was giving him a look of disdain.

“Possessing nothing to contribute to the order’s meeting is no excuse to act like a drunkard. That conduct does not serve as an exemplary model for your godson." Snape sneered, leaning back in his seat with a satisfactory glint in his eyes.

“Piss off, Snivellus. You don’t even care about Harry. He’s told me that you act like an outright git around him.” Sirius leaned over the table, pulled the other man by his robe, and snarled in his face. “Why don’t you go lick your master’s boots? You aren’t needed here.”

Snape smirked, and it infuriated Sirius. “Oh, but I am useful—more useful than you’ll ever be. You are merely a coward who hides while I face the Dark Lord, risking my life to gain integral information for the order.”

Dumbledore broke up the row, and Sirius ran off to his room and finished the bottle of fire whiskey. Even more so than hating the git, he despised the fact that he was correct. Sirius served no purpose in the war effort. He wasn't even able to act as Harry’s guardian, as he was a fugitive who was in hiding.

Sirius hurled the empty bottle of fire whiskey at the wall, which shattered on impact. His head was aching, and he was in no mood for his disparaging thoughts, so he transformed into Padfoot. He curled up in his bed and closed his eyes.

Sirius woke to knocking on his bedroom’s door and transformed back to answer. “What’s going on?” He opened the door to find Snape, which surprised him because he was sure his nap had lasted a few hours and that everyone should have left by now.

“The Floo Network is down because of a heavy snowfall. I must inevitably spend the night here.” Snape informed him rather than asking him if he could stay over.

Sirius poked him with the borrowed wand and glared. “What makes you think that I would allow you to stay?” Snape didn’t rise to the bait and simply raised an eyebrow.

"Would you genuinely abandon me in the blizzard? Dumbledore will be dismayed, as it was he who proposed I stay here and assured me that you would not object.” Snape appeared indifferent as to whether he would spend the night in the cold or have shelter, prompting Sirius to growl at him.

“You can stay in my brother’s room. I'm confident that you won't require my assistance to find his room.” When Sirius implied that he was aware of Snape's relationship with Regulus, a look of intense emotion flashed across his face.

Snape walked away from him without batting an eye, and Sirius was mad that he had not taken the bait. A satisfying confrontation with Snape would have calmed his restless spirit. He wanted to claw out the other man’s skin, curse him, draw him close, and lay with him.

There was something very wrong with Sirius. He had no business wanting a man who shared his loathing of him. Snape had crawled under his skin and into every part of him from the moment they first met, and Sirius resented the extent to which the other man ruled over him. It caused him to make terrible decisions; it caused him to send Snape to the Shrieking Shack during their fifth year.

Sirius had walked in on Rosier snogging Snape, and he saw red. Snape was an ugly git, and he shouldn’t have been snogging anyone. No one should have taken an interest in Snape. Sirius had done his damndest to keep it that way. Yet his younger brother had taken an interest in Snape, and Sirius saw that Snape reciprocated those feelings.

Sirius tossed and turned in bed. He couldn’t sleep, knowing that Snape was just around the corner. He got out of bed, walked to his brother’s room, and stood in front of the door, waiting for something. The door opened to an alert Snape, and he sighed, widening the opening and inviting Sirius into the room.

Sirius didn’t hesitate—like he did when they were fifteen, nineteen, or twenty—to accept his invitation, needing physical comfort that night. He wasn't certain who initiated the contact, but they were devouring each other’s lips, and then they were on the bed, touching each other everywhere.

It was everything and more than he had hoped for. Snape was gentler than Sirius expected, handling him as if he were made of porcelain. Sirius couldn’t hold back from confessing his feelings after every kiss and after every gentle caress. He begged forgiveness while sinking into Snape’s heat, and as they climaxed, their soulmate marks became visible.

Soulmate marks only became visible after soulmates had sex with one another. Sirius now understood why he was obsessed with Snape; this man he had despised was his soulmate all along. He had misinterpreted his strong feelings for Snape as negative rather than positive. He would have done things differently if he had known, but he could not turn back time.

Snape was gone the morning after the snowstorm, and he didn’t return to 12 Grimmauld Place, not even after Sirius sent countless letters. Sirius was getting restless and considering going to Hogwarts as Padfoot when he heard someone come out of the floo. He hurried to see who it was.

“Snape,” was all he said as he dumbly stared at the man before regaining his composure. “You git. Why didn’t you answer my letters? Why haven’t you come around? I think we should talk about this.” And he pointed at the mark that covered all of his right arm, from wrist to shoulder.

“I’m here now.” He sighed nonchalantly and leaned on his heels. His cavalier attitude infuriated Sirius. "It appears that our being soulmates is interfering with you not risking your whereabouts. I am here to tell you to stop making pointless attempts to contact me. It doesn’t matter that we are soulmates. This war is all that matters.”

Sirius experienced a sharp ache. “It matters. This... what we have matters. You’re my soulmate, for Merlin’s sake. We've never gotten along before, but I always knew there was something between us, and now that I know why that is, I can’t give you up.” Sirius had closed the gap as he delivered his speech, raising Snape's robe sleeve to reveal his soulmate mark.

Snape sucked in a breath and let out a half-sob, half-hysterical laugh as Sirius traced it with a light touch. “You understand nothing, Black. I am a sacrificial pawn in this war. After this war, I will most likely be dead or in Azkaban. It was just my luck to learn the identity of my soulmate right at the end of my life.”

Sirius was astounded by Snape's loss of composure and his words. He held him in his arms and swore, “We will make it through this war together.”

Snape stayed that night and returned any night he did not have detentions. (In one of their weekly letters, Harry mentioned to Sirius that Snape had begun to give out less frequent detentions.) Sirius found peace of mind over the weeks and months that he spent with Snape. Many members of the order commented on his change of attitude and behavior as he became less restless and stopped drinking excessively. If only they knew that Snape was to thank, they wouldn’t believe it.

On June 18, 1996, Snape revealed his true allegiances when he rescued Harry Potter with the help of his soulmate, Sirius Black.

On June 30, 1997, the Death Eaters broke into Hogwarts and were ambushed by the Order of the Phoenix, who were waiting for them. Draco Malfoy had spoken up about what the Dark Lord had asked of him, and Dumbledore took advantage of that.

Voldemort killed Harry Potter on July 1, 1997, but he survived and defeated him. Dumbledore revealed to Harry, Snape, and Sirius that Harry was one of Voldemort's horcruxes and that they needed to find and destroy the rest of them in order for Voldemort not to return. It did not take them long to find the rest, thanks to the assistance of Kingsley and Bill Weasley.

On August 3, 1997, Sirius was giving a fair trail as Kingsley was the new Minister for Magic.

On September 12, 1997, Sirius became Harry’s legal guardian. Harry was happy to finally be with his godfather

On December 23, 1998, Sirius Black and Severus Snape had a wedding ceremony with friends and family. (Sirius proposed two weeks after Snape moved into their new home, but Snape wanted to wait another year before marrying him.)

We finally have a First look at the logo and possible theme for Frozen 3! Officially revealed during the panel

Breathtaking and gorgeous! Simply gorgeous!! The colours are so calm and so beautiful!! Not what I was expecting but that's a good thing!! The four elements still seem to be in play with Elsa and Anna as the fifth spirit given by the two snowflakes too.

The season by the looks of it seems to be Spring given the colours. Frozen was in summer (and winter some may argue), Frozen II in autumn so it seems like Frozen III will be taking place in spring 🌸

Honestly I'm all in for the much lighter tone because Frozen 2 had a darker tone to it so I'm extremely excited!!

elsa fled to elias after her coronation. after a heated argument with her sister her powers were revealed to the citizens of corona.

since coming to elias she made friends with hades. elsa was unaware of his alliance with malfiencet. even when the monsters attacked she still sided with him finding a kinship in both of them being misunderstood. the god helped her with her powers. hades helped elsa realize there was beautiful in her magic not shame. she grew confident enough to remove her gloves.

her friendship with jack has also made her feel less alone in the world given his own ice powers.

her powers are still hidden from those she’s not close to. while elsa is more comfortable with her ice magic she still fears how others will react to her.

there is still so much she has yet to see and do after being hidden away for years. for the first time in her life she’s happy. as much as anna wants her to return to arendelle and be queen, elsa is content with the life she’s forging in elias.

since elsa was isolated for so many years and the gates of the kingdom were closed no one would know of her royal status unless they were royal themselves or lived in norway.

tw: elsa’s past mentions parental death & trauma.

born on the winter solstice to king agnarr and queen iduna, Elsa, was gifted with magical powers—the ability to control ice and snow—as a reward for her mother’s heroism when saving agnarr when they were teenagers. these powers would not manifest until she was three. Iduna was unaware of the origins of Elsa’s powers, but believed that they were born out of love and thus a gift rather than a curse since she was born from the union of an Arendellian and a Northuldran. She accepted her daughter’s uniqueness and correctly believed that Elsa was a gift from the forest’s spirits and born with her powers for a reason.

for years elsa used her powers mostly to entertain her younger sister anna. the two were close as can be. all was well until one night when elsa was merely eight years old she accidentally struck anna while playing with her. she struck anna in the head and knocked her out cold.

her parents sought help from the trolls. paddie, the shaman was able to cleanse anna of the magic, which included memories of elsa’s magic.

elsa was traumatized by the events. she almost killed her beloved sister.  after that night elsa was locked away in her room to keep herself safe but also anna. her father gifted her gloves that helped suppressed her powers. that’s where her mantra “conceal, don’t feel, don’t let it show” came from. for years elsa was distanced from others but instead of powers getting under control suppressing them only made them more unruly.

despite wanting elsa to conceal her powers, agnarr was optimistic that his daughter’s would learn to control her powers. her isolation was only temporary, however, the king and queen would never see the day elsa left her room. on the way to the celebration of the return of the lost princess in corona, the king and queen died. their ship was sunk due to extreme weather. distraught by their death, elsa lost control of her powers. she didn’t attend their funeral and after that elsa further isolated herself from anna.

three years after their passing elsa came of age to become queen of arendelle. it was the first time the gates would open to the public. it was the first time elsa would interact with anyone outside of her parents since she was eight. it wasn’t just the kingdom of arendelle but other neighboring kingdoms.  

the night was going well. elsa even reunited with anna. all the worries she had began to melt away that is until her sister asked for her blessing to marry prince hans of the southern isles. elsa insisted that anna could not marry a man she just met. the two begin to argue until elsa says the party is over and the gates be closed immediately. of course anna only continued to push which not only made elsa anxious she grew overwhelmed with frustration to the point she accidentally unleashed her powers on anna and the guests. horrified by what she had done and fearing how people would react to her, elsa fled arendelle until she found herself in a city called elias.  

future

elsa hasn’t had her ‘let it go’ moment yet so i would like to see that. she’s grown more confident yes but she hasn’t let go of anything. she still harbors a lot of anxiety and has yet to let her powers be seen to the public.

in the future, i want elsa to find out about the enchanted forest and her being the fifth spirit. eventually she’d be called forth to Ahtohallan and have her show yourself moment.

she would discover the truth about her parents, her family’s past and ties to the enchanted forest and know that her parents did love her. she would want to help bridge the Northuldra and the Arendellians.

i want elsa to heal from her trauma and realize she is not the monster she believes she is. she was a mere child who should have been given guidance instead of hidden away. she didn’t know any better.

like in frozen 2, she would give arendelle over to anna and leave to protect the enchanted forest. there she would find a sense of self and freedom.

i would hope she mends her relationship with anna. her mother knew that if anyone could help elsa with her powers it was her sister. healing will allow her to create a family of her own and hopefully do better for her kids than what she was given.

she has two children in the future: tzeitel, her daughter gifted by the water spirit and lachlan, her son gifted by the fire spirit.
